Indeed @Zed we had it done under warranty on the wrangler twice , 3rd time they wiggled out with car is modded. so for the stock gladiator it should be fixed under warranty I’ll find out this morning, but seems to be way to common on the 3.6l pentastar.

Update is it’s gonna be in the shop a few days , wasn’t coolant, on actually putting it on the ramp it’s the classic Jeep pentastar 3.6 crankshaft seal leak, on a engine with only 33k ! @Srikumar

My Jeep appears to have sprung an intermittent coolant leak, unless I can get it looked at tomorrow I may need to drop @Srikumar

I do love some of the desert marketing commercials here, it’s alway fun to watch for the early cuts when it’s obvious a bumper or other part is about to be ripped off, or the approach to a dune that is completely the wrong angle. Thanks for the comments I’ll pass them on.

Anyone got opinions of the Ford Everest for off-road ? I have a colleague that is buying one and interested in starting off road driving. Its based on the Ranger platform and does seem to have proper off road capabilities https://www.me.ford.com/en/are/suvs/next-gen-everest/

Beautiful morning for a drive , I hadn’t made it out in a while due to travel. Great weather - low temperature , cool sunrise and a short convoy, what more could we want. A new area to explore - check, sweeping at the back at a nice pace. But what could have been was not to be. For me it started when I was deflating and realised my radio and backup radio were both still on the chargers at home .. thankfully @JeromeFJ had a spare. Midway point I heard a clunk followed by metal scraping .. result. The front right Sway bar link top bolt had sheared. @Stumpy Paj of course was on hand with his socket set to remove the remaining of the link. Result 50% more articulation on the right hand side of the Gladiator. When I got home we had two spares from @Benjamin wrangler, no need to visit the shop. Well then the incident happened hope you are back on the sands soon @Bravoecho it could have been any of us in this situation.
