  3. Wow this is incredible, thank you to everyone I met during my journey who supported, taught, and executed some of the best adventures I've had. These past 3 years have been an absolute blast, and I look forward to helping others on their own paths coming in the future. I think it's important to note that there is a popular Japanese business model that we should all follow, if that's within @Carnity or any other hobbies/ work, and that is Kaizen which translates to 'Continuous improvement' don't be afraid to self-reflect and overcome. throughout my time in the club, I have had many influential faces to look up to when it came to executing a safe and enjoyable drive, while making a ton of new friends on the way. Thank you @Davie Smooth_Operator you have been a big help within my journey and even though I've only stepped out the door I plan to take this opportunity to learn and improve along the way, your help is much appreciated from me. @Gaurav Thank you for this amazing opportunity to grow and learn the ways of off-roading in a safe manner, every drive is an adventure, and knowing you believed in my ability to coordinate, lead and now plan drives independently given my age compared to our buddies here at the club is something I appreciate a lot. Much appreciated lad I'm looking forward to seeing you soon on some drives. @Looper Thanks lad, 3 years have flown by, we have been driving together for what seems longer than that, looking forward to seeing you soon @Luke K P hahahah I will do!! cheers lad

  8. Dear explorers @Tatsiana Chase, @Gilberto, @Yurybel, @Stuart G, @Matt - monkeywrench, @Juan R, @J-P L, @Looper, @Gary F Absolutely fantastic drive from everyone involved, as expected we had sand filled with moisture making the terrain very difficult for the convoy, however this was part of the purpose of this drive to learn the difference between speed and momentum while encountering new environments affecting the handling of your 4x4 once you master this you will begin to notice how you adapt your driving style and technique in response to the handling. We had some great refusals with fantastic weather allowed us to learn important shoveling techniques such as the importance of the V-channel, where to dig and why, which is important for all off-roaders, we could also showcase the difference in the moist sand during this colder climate we have encountered. Thank you to @Looper for allowing me to take over his drive, much appreciated I had a lot of fun. @Gary F good sweep and handling those refusals in the back and middle @Davie Smooth_Operator Much appreciated for the assist as a center forward while being a passenger, always good having you supporting my convoy in any way you can, and thanks for the tips I'll be working on them with my next lead!
  9. Congrats @Michael asir new pace and techniques await enjoy!

  13. Good morning explorers, @Looper has kindly offered to allow me to lead his drive the convoy order will be posted shortly. @Tatsiana Chase, @Gilberto, @Yurybel, @Stuart G, @Matt - monkeywrench, @Juan R, @J-P L, @Mehmet Volga. To begin with we will start our drive Faya side and venture into the sand towards Sweihan, I plan to hit 2 major waypoints one of which will be the iconic fox den where we can choose to take a short break, we will then continue to the next waypoint towards Sweihan pond once we have rested up we will explore further into the dunes this desert has to offer, the idea of this drive is to practice all the techniques you have learned until this point, with any extra time we will play around the dunes until we reach the exit point. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning.
  14. Dear Desert Dwellers @Luke K P, @Bjoern, @Abhishek Chikara, @Jessica Lambert, @Amr J, @Aser. @Andreas Riis, @Alexanderrr, @Michael asir, @Yurybel I just want to thank you for joining my 2nd lead; I hope you all enjoyed the drive as much as I did. Everyone drove absolutely incredibly which was fantastic to see considering damp conditions we encountered, even considering this by the end of the drive we brought up the pace and everyone could match the speeds required so well done to everyone especially the Fewbies that got a different taste of speed and environmental conditions during this drive. @Ale Vallecchi much appreciated lad thank you for allowing me to lead your drive and for the tips, as well as you're amazing second lead I knew I could feel reassured that you would take the smoother line when needed. My support team @Bjoern and @Luke K P Brilliant support guys I was glad you guys were in the back sorting any refusals which could allow me to concentrate on leading, unfortunately @Bjoern we couldn't witness your winch fixing a popout 😄 Till next time guys, hope you all enjoyed the rest of your weekend see you all on the next one 💪
  15. Dear Desert Dwellers, as we explore the land of Arrakis following in the footsteps of the Fremen we plan to tackle the unforgiving terrain in search of Spice and Water, arm your thumpers and beware of the colossal sandworms found in the rolling dunes of this planet. @Ale Vallecchi @Luke K P, @Bjoern, @Abhishek Chikara, @Jessica Lambert, @Amr J, @Aser. @Andreas Riis, @Mohit Gurnani, @Alexanderrr, @Michael asir, @Yurybel We plan to use Radio channel 2 Our start location will be just outside the home of the sandworms found here https://maps.app.goo.gl/bFHdavA8GzsZJG257 please ensure your at the location 0800 sharp bring lots of water and make sure any passengers are comfortable with sharp angles and climbs, if there is any feeling of motion sickness I'll have some motion sickness tablets with me.
