Two weeks ago we explored and conquered Tilal Sweihan—this weekend we’re heading back for a high-octane run west-wards through its best lines! The mission: link up as many long-range dune sections as possible, riding the ridges high for epic views before blasting south towards Khatm, where we’ll finish with a wild ride through the rollercoaster dunes. MUST READ AND COMPLY Environmental Policy Offroad Flag Guideline Two Way Radio Guideline Off road Driving Etiquette's Emergency details for all off-roaders Off Road Driving - Roles & Responsibilities DRIVE DETAILS Level: Fewbie and above Meeting time: 6:30 AM (SHARP - Without any exceptions) Meeting Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/acreM77zLxB2MRu76 Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, face mask, rubber gloves, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Approximate finish time: 10:00 AM P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive. LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday - 1 PM. Thankyou everyone for being on time today. We had a lot of company this morning at the meeting spot, over 75 cars at one point! After a quick briefing we ventured into the Al Saad portion of sweihan, dodging convoys from the left, right and Infront of us... Pushing on until we found some secluded areas to start playing around in. Abu Dhabi really has some amazing desert scapes that just seem to come out of nowhere... Turn a corner and boom, transported to another planet! I think a lot of you got to spot the jeep doing some extreme moves on the top that tall dune.. certainly a lot of excitement. After some long around we eventually found out way into a number of very deep bowls, snaking our way around and building momentum to climb out in a circular fashion. We didn't quite make it to the old lady dune today.. so we will have to come back in a few weeks and aim for it again.
