Thanks all - and @Asif Hussain a special thanks to you for the Leader’s Lead training. It was extremely valuable and set us up well to approach leading for the first time. -

Trip Report Before the sun had fully risen above the horizon, two convoys set off into the Sweihan dunes for our Rise & Shine adventure. Over the course of approximately 46 km and 2.5 hours, we enjoyed flowing terrain, technical sections, bowls, and countless beautiful sunrise views as the desert gradually came to life around us. A particular highlight was reaching and regrouping at Ghafftein Bowl, where both convoys successfully met up exactly as planned. Seeing the two groups come together in the middle of the desert was a great moment and proof that the plan worked perfectly. A special mention to @Noufal, who unfortunately had to leave us early. It was great to see you out in the desert again, and I hope everything is well on your side. To everyone who joined: you drove exceptionally well. The convoy flowed smoothly throughout the morning, with excellent discipline, communication, and teamwork. It was a pleasure to drive with you all. My thanks also go to @_luke_ for providing a rock-solid second lead, @Diego for keeping an attentive eye on the rear as sweep, and @Emanuel for expertly leading the second convoy with @Looper's support. Having two groups working together so seamlessly made the morning even more enjoyable. With over 1,500 m of cumulative climbing and descending through the dunes, plenty of bowl action, and a memorable sunrise over Sweihan, this was excellent. Most importantly for me it also marked the beginning of my journey leading drives at Expert level with Carnity. I couldn't have asked for a better group to share that milestone with. Little bit of trivia...between the two convoys there were 10 vehicles and over 1,000 combined Carnity drives worth of experience! Thank you all for joining, and I look forward to seeing you on the next adventure. Until then, keep your momentum, your smiles, and your tyres pointing in the right direction! 🏜️🚙🌅 -

@Emanuel @Looper @_luke_ @Diego @Riyad @Danie @_Herman_ @Infaz @Krinesh @Noufal @Ahmed Farouk @Ash S. Dear Desert Surfers! The RSVP is now closed, looking forward to seeing you all in the morning! Some quick notes to get us organised: 1.) With the very kind support of Emanuel and Looper, we will split the convoy so we can run two small but perfectly formed groups across the sands. No racing or shenanigans planned, but we will run similar routes and aim to meet at the Ghafftein Bowl for 08:00 for a social break together. 2.) We will aim to be rolling by 06:45 - so please aim to have cars ready by 06.35 so we can do a quick brief and get rolling. 3.) Please see below the Convoy split - Convoy 1 will gather to the left side of the meet point, and Convoy 2 to the right side . 4.) Convoy 1 will be on Channel 10 (446.231), and Convoy 2 will be on Channel 9 (446.206). Meet Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/DHWXGk57ijEAENYW9 / 24.360611, 55.401139 Thanks all - looking forward to seeing you! -

Thank you so much guys - it’s been a great pleasure learning to offroad with Carnity and go from newbie to leading drives. I think the ethos our club has is unique, and that comes from all of our members. I’m looking forward to enjoying many more drives and learning more together with all of you. -

ARB Brushless Compressor - First Impressions

So long as it’s somewhere where the air can circulate it’s fine. I’ve found the brushless compressor to be “fussier” than the older one; but that’s the flip side to having higher performance. -

Hey @Thomas54675 - that’s a nice tidy way to install it! Looks like the compartment in the JK is fairly small, but propping the floor up is a nice easy fix! -
untilJoin me this Saturday morning for a Fewbie Plus sunrise cruise, following a flowing route of around 60 km or so through the Sweihan desert, visiting a few bowls along the way. We’ll make an early start, catch the sunrise from the sand, and then settle into a good-paced morning drive across some beautiful rolling dunes. The focus is simple: smooth lines, flowing terrain, good company, and plenty of sand beneath the tyres. Coffee up, air down, and let’s chase the sunrise! 🌅🏜️🚙 Level: Fewbie Plus and above Meeting time: 06:30 (SHARP - Without any exceptions) Meeting Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/DHWXGk57ijEAENYW9 / 24.360611, 55.401139 Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Approximate finish time: 09:00 P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive. LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE This drive is limited to 8 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday - 17:00.
