I have AT52, I'm not driving now on Expedition with AT52 in desert, but when was driving, even with heavy weight of the car and 10-12 psi I've never smelled anything, I have LT285/65R18

Unfortunately, I have absolutely no time for it anymore, so Black Beast needs a new home. This is not your average mall-crawler — it’s been built and enjoyed for what it does best: eating dunes. Usage: Taken on several desert drives with Carnity Occasionally used as a backup to pick up the kids from school Upgrades & Add-ons: Upgraded Android head unit with Car Scanner installed (perfect for live monitoring) Flag mount ready for any off-road convoy Fog lamps for better visibility Strands light bar on bumper Why selling? I simply don’t have the time to give it the outings it deserves. This beast was made to run the desert, not sit in a basement parking in Business Bay. If you’re looking for a solid, ready-to-go desert machine, this is it. @Islam Soliman was 1st owner of this legend 0-5-0 178 08 3 6

Any experiences with GWM Tank 500 off roading any one?
Zubail replied to Hanan's topic in General Discussions
And what about gear box? I know for jetour in Russia were tested, all good on road, except gear, overheats when offroading, as I remember it was jetour, not Tank but I think googling on some reviews should give some result -

After many days and weeks I came back to the question, and what I realized, my priorites. 1-2) Outdoorsman 2-1) Overland 3) Dunebashing When weather is good, I want to go hiking or camping or travel. So the only time in year when I really can spend on Dunebashing is summer, to sit in car with AC 😃 but during summer usually we travel.. so Black Beast is parked and not used, and I feel sad for that.

Garmin Powerswitch - Has anyone used it?
Zubail replied to Alphin Aloor's topic in Off-Road Club's Discussions
I have auxbeam or smth similar(8 buttons) on Yukon and Switchpros 9100 (8 buttons) on Expedition. price difference is 2-3 times, 1 good thing for switchpros is no need to press extra button( you can program for blinking or dimming if supported by lights easily) and current, switchpros are 4x20a and 4x35a, other panel can't handle that much power, so it depends what do you need and your setup. -
you can find sand instead of wet grass Last week I was picking up kids from school on Yukon and forgot that it was in 2wd.. I made so much dust and sand flying from the wheels, before managed to leave sand and be on pavement.. then I only realized it was 2H not 4A 😄

We just came back(31.05-1.06 was very busy and miss you all guys, can't wait when will see you all again) from a magical one-day/one-night mini-trip to Snake Gorge Canyon in Oman, and I can’t wait to share it with Carnity community! 🚗 The Journey Begins We set out early on Saturday morning with my boys, and after about 8 hours, we crossed the border into Oman. Traffic was nearly non-existent—maybe because it was early, or because Eid was a week away. 🛣️ On the Road The highway after the border was a bit monotonous, but once we turned toward the mountains, the real adventure began. We passed Al Hazm Fort and an Omani local even suggested we check it out—unfortunately that was on Day 2 and time was tight. ⛰️ Into the Wadi The last 30–40 minutes to our destination was pure Wadi and mountain switchbacks. My Expedition was cruising in 4A without a hitch, while the Pajero and LC pickup shifted into 4L more than once. This was my first tough-road experience, and wow—the views were breathtaking. On the way back, I made a few stops just to soak it all in. Looking down? Terrifying! XD 🏠 Arrival & Exploration We reached our guest house, had a hearty lunch, and prepped for the hike. Since my younger son is only six, we chose the shorter 6 km trail—and it was absolutely perfect. 💧 Canyon Fun Given that it hadn’t rained in over six months, there were tons of deep, clear pools in the canyon. The kids were ecstatic, and so was I—especially in the sweltering 40 °C heat, the cool water felt incredible. 👶 Father–Son Bonding For the final kilometer out of the canyon, I carried my younger boy on my back whenever rocks allowed. He’d been so excited—stayed up late, woke up early, and didn’t nap a single second during the drive Leaving The next morning, we woke up, stretched lazily, had breakfast, and set off to explore an village site—more like a charming little town, really. After our stroll through narrow streets and old walls, we decided it was time to head back. But first, we swung by a car wash—our black SUV came out looking more like ash-gray than black! Then we grabbed lunch at a nearby pizzeria and struck up a conversation with a friendly local. This short trip didn’t give us the full luxury of a slow-paced mountain retreat in Oman, but escaping the hustle and bustle of Dubai—especially with my sons—has quickly become one of my favorite recent memories! ✅ Final Thoughts I definitely recommend visiting Snake Gorge Canyon. If you’re up for more action, try the full canyon route—it’s even more exhilarating, with 40 m rope descents and pools deep enough to swim for 15–30 minutes depending on rainfall. If you’re into a quick but unforgettable outdoor escape, Snake Gorge in Oman is an absolute must! https://maps.app.goo.gl/6DJ2JEUTBLnh4oDo8 PS. preparing kids for Salalah trip XD
