  • About Me
I’m Piotr. I’m originally from Poland and have spent more than 2 decades living and working internationally, now based in Abu Dhabi.
Professionally, I work as Director in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Research Center, but outside work I enjoy adventure, fitness, travel, and off-road driving.

I drive a Ford Ranger Raptor and I’m still building my off-road experience, especially in the dunes. I’m interested in learning from more experienced members, joining drives, and enjoying the off-road community in a safe and fun way.

Hi @Sam Selim I respect your decision about amount of drives and there is no doubt about it. However, we could measure not only amount of drives but offroad skills in some way. For example, we can collect skills after drives ect. Just an example. @Sebastian Nohse has lots of experience and he drives on probably intermediate level or above. On my example, I am going to miss your FB+ Saturday drive because I am missing 1FB+ drive. However, I can and will join AD4x4 Club on Intermediate level drive at Saturday morning also in Sweihan. It there anyway to transfer experience or skills? Regards, Piotr

Another great night in the desert. Thanks @_luke_ for organizing this trip and support team @Giacomo and @ChrisW to make it smooth. @Noufal it was great to meet you. Nothing beats stopping in the middle of the desert for chat and coffee. I put together a short video from the drive to capture the atmosphere. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DdG3duvILb1/?stkn=YzVyaGowbHZvbmtx See you next time

Thank you all! @Lukas Wii welcome to night dune exploration trips, next time we have to put in the program “bashing plate test”. @Giacomo and @Sebastian Nohse your V8 Jeeps sounds amazing. I made also short movie. https://www.instagram.com/reel/Dc0OSxbomg_/?igsi=MWs0eHFtcGF1bzE3aA== BTW: @ChrisW which model of Insta360 do you have? Night shoots look good. I am looking for 360 camera, but I need stupid easy one to not create extra job to edit these videos.

Big thanks to @_luke_ for organizing this trip. Thanks to all @Asif Hussain, @ChrisW , @JC_E @Giacomo for the support throughout the drive. Thank you all for this great evening. After a few months away from the night drives, it felt really good to be back. My son also enjoyed every minute of this trip even if his favorite RC car gave up before we finished. Looking forward to the next night drive & coffee club session. ☕
  8. Thanks @Sam Selim for arranging this trip. Thank you @Ale Vallecchi, @ChrisW and @Krinesh for your support. It was very interesting and fun, especially “Sam’s bowl”. See you all in the dunes!
