ameens
What does it mean by automatic and manual locking hub in 4x4 segment cars. I mean how is it different. Can anyone please brief about it?
kris
Its very simple. When you want to change the 2 wheel drive to 4 wheek drive, thats when locking hub comes and it's role. In the manual living hub, the driver needs to stop the car and unlock the hub. With automatic licking hub, driver doesn't needs to stop the car and go to our of the car to twist the axle. You just press the unlock hub and the car changes from one mode to another. That's the only difference.
ameens
Interesting. Thanks for explaining man. So the price of the cars with automatic unlock hub must be higher than the manual one right.
kris
Yes off course. But generally, the new cars come with the automatic hub now.
