Opening Coolant reservoir when engine is hot!

Quick Question. Can I open the coolant reservoir when the engine is hot?

Don’t try that. You may burn your hand as well. Open the reservoir when the engine is cold enough.

I would strongyl suggest to wait for at least 10 minutes before you open the reservoir. If you open it while it's hot you can injure yourself and you won't be able to determine what's the exact level of water in the reservoir.
