Dh400 fine if car number plate not visible

Motorists will be fined if their number plates are hidden or difficult to see, Abu Dhabi Police warned on Thursday.

Sharing a photo of a car carrying a bicycle on a special stand attached to its boot, which resulted in the number plate becoming obscured, the police said that such an offence will result in a fine of Dh400.

The police also urged motorists to report such violations to the police immediately.
