do i need to replace the engine

when my 1996 mustang didnt move i towed the car and took it to a garage where they said that my engine was locked and needs to be replaced completely cause there were traces of water emulsified in the oil

what do i do

Though its an old car, if you replace engine with Japanese import from shj its better and cheaper. (3k -5k)

You can rebuild this engine too, but might or for sure will cost more than swapping with another one. (4k - 8k)
