Thanks @Ale Vallecchi for a wonderful drive in a brand new area of Al Qudra for us. There was a lot of untouched dunes along our exploration with very few challenges we couldn't self-recovery from. Ben's pop-out was a learning experience and unlikely to be your last. Ale got stuck on a bush when coming over to have a look. Everyone drove really well. All in all, a fun way to start the weekend.

Very strange that my tie rod snapped. It was the drivers side this time. Last month with Davie the passenger side tie rod snapped. Both times coming off a small dune about 2m in height to the left on the downward path and then a gradual turn to the right at the bottom. Neither turn was aggressive nor hard on the leveling out at the bottom. My mechanic, a three time Pajero owner, never heard of this before. After checking the suspension it is a mystery why this happened both times so close to each other timing wise. Perhaps wear and tear and or manufacturing defect.

Thanks @Ale Vallecchi for the great drive Friday afternoon.

I haven't been to this part of Al Qudra before, seems silly considering it's not that far from the other well-known areas, but i must admit it was a fun place for an afternoon and eliminating the weeks stress. Everybody drove great, little bit of switching/criss-crossing, faster paced and technical dunes. looking forward to another drive here in the future.

@Emanuel Thanks for your support during the drive and I hope you manage to get to the bottom of your issue soon.

All the best guys, have a great week and see you again next weekend.
