Engine Oil Change

Is it advised to put 10W 40 Semi Synthetic Engine Oil in Audi A4. Not able to get VW503 00 or VW504 00 at times when you check for it. Please advice?

Do we need to take to Audi service center for this old change activity?

You can easily put Mobil 1 or Shell Helix Ultra of same spec, VAG oil is not made in mars. If specs are same i really wouldnt worry at all. And Shell and Mobil 1 are the leaders in oil market.
