Jeep Commander 2007- Gearbox/Transmission

Hi

Does anybody know the average cost of a Gearbox/Transmission for a Jeep Commander 2007 Automatic 3.7?

I have been scouring a few garages who have quoted me ridiculous amounts to fix.

Appreciate the advice.

Go to sharjah BM road on main crossroad there is automatic gear builder workshop, get it rebuild.

Scrap or new one will cost a fortune, as its 2007 model. Only cheapest way is to rebuild it. Will cost in between 1000 - 2000 aed depending on what all is needed in rebuild.

Thanks Pasha. But not sure if I am able to drive the car to Sharjah. Would they have a pick up service?

Call this guy 050 8666149 Mohd, very fast and efficient recovery guy. Cost 150 aed.

I recently used him for my Pajero from warqa to sharjah BM road.
