khandelwal Posted July 28, 2013 Share Posted July 28, 2013 My Jeep Grand Cherokee is a 2000 model started having this weird habit of 6-beep tone when I try to start it. Any idea why it is so? Please don't tell me its bcoz the vehicle is too old. Upon close inspection i felt the sound comes from somewhere near the steering column. pls suggest what this could be. If no warning light appearing, then check all fluid level may be getting low: coolant, wiper water, power steering etc. Check and top up everything. I am sure its two set of 3 beeps, right?
