CV joints needs to be replaced

my 2004 sonata needs CV joints replacements and i was thinking is it advisable to change the entire Axel instead of changing the joints

Not at all, CV boot joints is semi consumable item if they leak grease and if you replace with new car will be fine. Where as AXLE isnt consumable item just like your wind screen, gearbox and engine. Axle work for life of car if it isn't bend or broken.
