what should i keep in mind when i jumpstart another car.

there are a lot of times i see that people help other people to jumpstart their car which somehow i have never done, so for just incase if i do help somebody are there any precautionary measures i should be taking before i do that.

when jump starting other car make sure u have a good battery, also the cable is connected to the right minus plus or else it will blow up both the batteries.
