2012/13 QX56 GPS Map update

Hello Everyone

Dealer is quoting 1000 USD for an update of my 09/10 map

Sounds really expensive in the US official update is 250 USD

Is this correct?

Any suggestion where else I could buy/source these maps?

Yes it is most expensive and doesn't make any sense. What really troubles me is when you buy a brand new 2011 Infinity QX 56 you are buying top of the range car. It doesn't make sense Infinity gives you 2009 maps. For me it goes without saying the maps should be 2011.

Also not alternative 3rd part maps could be installed !

Does Infinity know how the dealers exploiting this draw back? I suggest we complain to Infinity.
