Auxillary point on mazda6 2009 not working

Hi. I drive a 2009 2.0 mazda6. The Aux point which is under the arm rest is not working. I used to listen to my mp3 player via this Aux point with a 3.5mm Aux cable. I tried changing cables but still no change. Can anyone help me what the problem could be and where I can get it fixed? I checked with Galadari and they insist I change cable which I have already done with no positive results. Or is there any special cable I need to use? The 3.5mm cables I bought work well with my music system at home, but won't work in my car.

Seems like socket issue if you are 100% positive on wire, probably get another brand 3.5mm cable to eliminate the doubt.

About the socket any car electrician can get it checked and change as well in less than hour time.
