passenger airbag light

hi hi!

i am picking up my new mazda gts soon and there is a function that i don't like already. The passenger airbag light.

Its surprising how the light keeps on even when there is no passenger sitting in the seat. I mean the light shouldn't be on if no one is sitting ... maybe only if it recognized even the slightest weight to be on...

anyways ... is there any way to turn this thing off? its pretty annoying.

Hi Peter

The light on means that the airbags are off since there is no sufficient weight present in the passenger seat but the seat belt is clicked in. Ensure that the seat belt is not connected. Once you get the car .. let me know if the situation is otherwise ...

My car's passenger airbag light malfunction so on my way to work i used to have a pile of books and documents on the seat which were sufficient to turn them off
