gear is not getting engaged

i cant engage the gear p to d and because of that i cant move the car.

could it be the gear box problem?

If you have gear shift lock next to gear lever, press that and try moving gear. That you need to insert small key in that lock and shift.

Once you can move the car get computer check and see what is faulty and why computer locked the gear, may be thinking some thing bad.
