rotor question

my 1999 911 was standing for more then 6 mths now and have visible rust on the rotors, there is no noise when i break and it has got a lighter since 2 days now so i want a second opinion if i can get the rust layer removed or i need to change the rotors altogether???

If rotor thickness is more than 6mm, dont bother. Dont change and dont get rust removal as after driving for a while it will be fine. Lets say after 100km in traffic i mean, not highway. lol. You need braking to clean the pad and rotor.
