moreya Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 my 1999 911 was standing for more then 6 mths now and have visible rust on the rotors, there is no noise when i break and it has got a lighter since 2 days now so i want a second opinion if i can get the rust layer removed or i need to change the rotors altogether??? kakooner Posted May 31, 2011 Share Posted May 31, 2011 If rotor thickness is more than 6mm, dont bother. Dont change and dont get rust removal as after driving for a while it will be fine.
