shajidan
Whenever I put the vehicle from a N or a P position to D, the vehicle jilts (basically you can actually feel that you have put the gear) Is this normal ? I did not have this issue earlier and want to know if this is something that needs to be checked immediately. I own a PRADO 2010 VXL model. autopartsexpert
HI good morning shaji... Certainly, Yes you need to check your transmission in the garage. It should not be jilt specially in this models unless if there is a proper maintenance like chaning transmission oil filter, transmission oil. There are several reasons could be seen like, it might be the propeller shaft, the gear mounting. transfercase, or some wire is broken. So my advice you should go for the transmission check-up. shajidan
The vehicle has had regular services being done by Al Futtaim itself and frankly all i do was just drive and never taken off-road or pulled a caravan, so effectively, the vehicle had not been stressed I would assume. But just a quick question, what is the intermediate intervals in getting this oil changed
