RNS 510 sat nav system phone connection not working

Hi,

I recently bought a Touareg 2009 with full options and the phone option of the sat nav system only mutes the media. I have tried many times to pair and search the bluetooth connection but cannot find it. The manual also does not explain this situation.

Can someone please help on this. I am really frustrated with this situation.
