the car is getting overheated and i am unable to understand the cause for it.

Overheathing has many reason starting from AC fan failure, Clutch fan failure, leaking radiator, blocked radiator, Stuck thermostat, Loose radiator cap and head gasket leaking and mixing coolant and oil.
