Thank you, everyone, for today’s drive and for making me feel welcome on my first drive back with Carnity after three years away! I was definitely a little rusty, especially with the ridge riding, and struggled to keep up at times. I really appreciate everyone’s patience while I found my rhythm again. It was a learning experience, and I took a lot away from it. Unfortunately, near the end, what appeared to be a seized alternator left my car unable to continue. A special thank you to @DP1011 for being so supportive throughout, @Infaz for pulling me out with his Ram, and @Gaurav for taking the wheel of my car and getting it safely out. I’m very grateful to everyone who stayed and helped. I felt bad for holding the group up, especially on my first drive back, but your support reminded me why I wanted to return to this community. Hopefully, I’ll see you all again soon with the car sorted and a little more confidence! 🙏
  2. Thanks to all trip leads and support. I have learned a lot and looking forward to learn more. 😁
  3. Hi @Srikumar, Tomorrow’s drive is still on right? Could you please share the convoy order list… See you tomorrow 😁
  4. Hi @Frederic, Sorry for the late response 😅, my name is Rashid Omar 21 years old from Sharjah, I joined @lucas amata few weeks ago to a newbie desert drive and I liked it 😁 so I decided to join. I drive a 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser V6 with front and rear tow points available. Going off road was the first thing I did as soon as I received my driving license 3 years ago 😂. But I self learned everything the hard way plus some YouTube tutorials, so I think I know all the basics. I usually go alone with a few friends, so I don’t take high risks by going deep into the desert. But now that I joined the off road club, I can enjoy and increase the level of adventure 🙃✌️. See you tomorrow…
