Was this a coincidince or not?

my 2005 Golf had met with a small bang 2 months ago and as it wasn't my fault the repairs were done by the other part mechanic.

now i see that the engine oil is leaking but not sure if its a co incidence or the bang made it happen.

Need opinion what shud i do now

it can definitely be a coincidence. Y not get the Car checked with some other mechanic and be sure of it.

what could have happened is that the previous mechanic must have missed it.

its sure a matter of coincidence. i have been getting my car repaired here in uae for 15 years and i have not found a single mechanic who is dishonest.
