maxripper
Hey guys. Curious to know if one can install the audio system in the car or does it require professional help?
fardin
Yes you can. And rather you can save money to get it installed from your dealer or any other workshop. Firstly, you need to remove the face plate/trim piece. To do that you have to unscrew all the screws on the trim piece. There will be some components connected to the trim piece that you may need to detach for a while until the installation is complete. You will notice the OEM harness over there. You need to connect each wire properly in crimp connector. There are some wires of the speakers as well. It’s mentioned on the connector as well as the wire onto which one will go to which plug. Sometimes, the color code also helps in doing so. The put the stereo connector inside the space and screw the car stereo properly. Before tightening it, make sure the connection is proper and the stereo is working properly. Tighten the screws and enjoy your music!
