Hi Guys, after long time. This place has changed quiet a lot since my last visit and I hope i am making post in right place. Friend of mine advise me to get the original OEM spar parts from outside shops in Deira / Sharjah other than the dealer parts center. I called one of them and got good price and bought two non critical spare part. My question, is if those guys are selling original or counterfeit spare parts as their price is about 40% lesser than the original Infiniti dealer price tag....?

I have gone through same and I highly advise Arnott Inc air suspension that comes with lifetime warranty in US and Europe. I have used same for over 2 years till I sold the car and never had an issue and yet enjoyed the comfort of EAS but without any (beep beep beep). I have also tried the spring conversion in one of my old Rangy, and to be honest it wasn't that bad at all you barely feel the difference unless you are a fan of adjusting height too much.

Can you check if jerk is there when you move from P (Parking Gear) to D (Drive Gear and R (Reverse Gear) while holding the brake. It's confirmed engine mounting issue. If jerk is only there when car star to move forward from zero then it could be gear or something else. If jerk is prominent when car shift gear from 1-2 and upward then for sure gear clutch need replacement or gear need a rebuilding. I had gear rebuilding issue last summer and got it fixed in sharjah for reasonable amount with american spare parts.

I had something very similar issue few years back and it turned out to be the Engine fan was the culprit. Engine fan works with viscose clutch and that usually rotate at half rpm speed of engine but when engine gets hot then viscose clutch get fully engage and rotate at 100% speed of engine RPM. This help drawing bigger amount of air and pushes through radiator to cool the coolant at a faster rate. The amount of air and pressure it uses is far above any electric fan and it is capable to dissipate heat within seconds. Engine fan usually have a life of 5-10 years depending on usage, and it's slightly expensive to replace somewhere in range of 800-1200 AED. Go again and test your car in desert and pay extra attention this time when car overheat, that engine fan started working at higher rpm? As it's mechanical operation, so there is no proven and clear way to see when it works except you need to listen that result in LOUD GUSHING NOISE from engine bay. If your car still be quite when engine is slightly overheating then its confirmed that this engine fan viscose clutch needs replacement. If this fan produced enormous gushing noise and temperature drops and then this noise goes back to normal noise level, then that means this engine fan is working and there is something else to doubt.
