I have seen in so many countries that drivers are driving with the permanently installed dash-cam in their car to protect their innocence on that one ugly day. I have been thinking of same to use it here and was discussing which one to buy and then one of the colleague pointed that it's not allowed in the UAE. Wanna ask you guys if it's really allowed here or not as I don't find anything objectionable to record on-road traffic.

LONG ANSWER: Govt and police like the idea but not sure to how to deal with privacy issue that is the main concern to not to allow any filming in public be it from dash cam or from your iphone. I believe (may be I am wrong) proposal have been submitted to higher authorities and govt bodies to reconsider this idea and we all are waiting. Even you show something to police they will not look into it and also it may not go against you unless it comes as a written complaint from the person you filmed. It's too complicated.......phewwwww. SHORT ANSWER: No, it's not allowed at the moment as of 5 March 2016.

I would not consider horsepower and torque on their own as a measure if the vehicle has adequate power. The horsepower and torque along with weight is key. Or what is known as power to weight ratio. An old wrangler 1999 to 2005 is around 17 power to weight ratio, which are very agile in the dunes and any idiot can look expert driving them I am sure the new wranglers surpass them as does the FJ in terms of power to weight ratio. I would like to know if the duster has low ratio transfer box, if the traction control can be switched off completely s these can stop the vehicle in loose sand at the side of the highway to al Quadra lakes. Others to consider are ground clearance, suspension articulartion, departure and approach angles, placement of radiator to front cross memeber and factory tow points. I doubt that any US, Australian and South Africans are going to make suspension lifts, tow points and any other basic mods for the duster unless it starts eating into LC, wrangler and FJ sales as a capable offroader. 1 overlooked 4x4 here is the fortuner, good power to weight ratio, diff lock and carry 7 passengers and great on fuel....not a monetary concern but when on remote trips your distances are more flexible.

In my car Navigation, radio, music, TV all is connected togetehr through iDrive system. There are some multimedia upgrades possible, but they cots money and limit cars original functions. Below is the picture typical to my cars saloon. All I want is someone who has an Inpa K+Dcan cable and laptop with software, who can enter the car computer system and reset my radio setting so that I can use it here in Dubai.

hey guys i am a owner of audi quattro 2008 model, recently i have noticed that the air suspension will not rise i have never had issues like this previously but one morning ci start the car and i wont rise so i switched it off and restarted the car but it still got stuck in the down position. any clue what cud be the problem

I had a crush on Mustang since I was in school and that's why when I got bored of trying all 4x4's I switch to pony league and Mustang was my first obvious choice to try. I am driving 2012 Mustang GT V8 5.0 since a year and love it's throttle response and grunt among all the cars that I have ever owned. The only disappointment I find is little less leg room for driver as my right knee always hit the console and while high speed cornering it irritates even more. Second, it's stability could have been done better, although I am using slightly wider tires and still loose control on extra hard throttle occasionally. Although its a sports car and still able to seat 4 adults perfectly for an occasional ride. Rear bucket seats is not bad compare to many other 2 door sports car, it gives just enough space to fit any reasonable size of adult (not too big and not too tall). Just that if you drive with four adult and high speed uneven road bump can squeak the suspension sometime, but that's fine for once a month kind of joy ride moments. From styling, it's so awesomely designed that every time my wife drives this car at 80 km/h in 4th lane, people chase her and flash to race. Design and styling has been done so appropriately by Ford design team that they have kept the legend alive after 50 years and still manage to breath new life in designing this true pony car.

Totally depends upon the vehicle and usage. For a Wrangler, Kings first, although Radflo is the new hotness. For an FJ, ICON makes the best value pre-tuned multi-shock (2 per wheel) setup, but a case can be made for Kings or Radflo if only using 4 shocks. In any general sense, Kings and Radflos are really designed for high-speed desert racing, Icons a close third, with Fox a bit after them. The OMEs, Ironmans, and the rest are OK, but most don't offer a separate oil/nitrogen charge reservoir, which you want if hitting them hard in the desert at high speed. Nor are they as tunable as Kings, Icons, and Radflos. But let's be clear- you asked about "the best", and that ain't cheap. The best desert shock setups (8 Kings total including 4 multi bypass) will run at least 50,000 AED. Phase I of my FJ ICON setup just cost me 18,000 AED, and to add the Phase II multi bypass front shocks and rear bump stops will cost me another 12,000, at least. And I skipped the high cost options like solid aluminum billet upper control arms and matching lowers...it could have been a lot higher. So, you may want to consider what you mean as "best". And how badly you want it.
