Shihab Mohammed bin Solaiman is introducing a solar car in the UAE region. The 23-year-old young Bangladeshi engineering student at Petroleum Institute (PI) recently won a Total Campus Challenge 'Make Things Better'. The young man presented the 2 specials cars which design by him in the competition. The first car is hybrid and the second one is a solar car. He says the solar car is cost effective than hybrid. The hybrid car can take 150 miles per gallon of its fuel economy. The Solar Car can go the up-to-the speed of 140km per hour using solar power. As long the sunlight is available the batteries keep recharging. We have tested the Solar ride, going Abu Dhabi to Dubai and came back on it with solar power.
