  1. Hey @Rafey Hashmi! Good to see you back my friend! I've been following your content online and love it! The new FJ is in my opinion a great lifestyle overlanding / off-roading / camping 4x4 that has the proven Toyota reliability and a bulletproof 2.7. We know that the existing FJ owners are largely disappointed due to the departure of the mighty 4.0 V6, but you of anyone should know by now that fun is not always measured in horsepower. I've driven underpowered 4x4's for most of my life and will honestly say it's been so much fun to find a smooth line and make it up a large dune. You've driven in Liwa with me and your Jimny took it all with a smile, and i believe the new FJ Cruiser would do the same for you. Drake's opinion about the new FJ:

  2. I already received my b-day gift. Black Raptor recovery from fox 🦊 hole without damaging anything 🫣. After the drive we have had 30-40min to celebrate successful recovery.

  8. Hey Stephan, In the end it makes no great difference and is largely just a question of convenience. If you plan to offroad regularly (say once a week on average), then having a fixed onboard compressor is useful and is one less thing to pack and remember. If you want to avoid making any changes to your car, or you’re happy to pack your equipment each time you go off-roading, a portable unit is a great option. I went for a fixed installation onboard compressor in my Jeep as I take it out regularly enough to benefit from the saving of time and space taken up in the car.

  9. Hello Frederic, absolutely great piece of writing. Very useful. I am wondering about the best option between a compressor mounted in the car (for example under the passenger seat - Offroad Zone does that with an ARB), or a compressor that one needs to plug to the battery each time it is needed. There is an obvious difference in price... But what is the most practiced here? Is it inconvenient to open the hood, plug to the battery each time needed? Thanks in advance for you view on that.
