  1. I have a family of 4 people, so i suppose even a hatchback will work for me. I want comfortable seating so that my family has enough space in the car to enjoy. Sometimes we also like to go out for picnic, so need proper space to keep the bags.
  2. Hey Audi owners. Please share the best choice in BMW for you and why is it best?
  3. Very important topic. Mechanical failures is also a crucial factor in road accident. To avoid any accident because of mechanical failure, i think one should always check inflation pressure in all the tires. One should always consider this check at least once in a week, or at least before any long trip. Second thing to make sure is the car brake. If you feel that the brakes are making unusual noise or taking time to react, then always get the brake checked before going for any ride. Lastly, never ignore the warning lights on the dashboard. Warning lights are very helpful to detect any hazard in your car.
  4. I suppose ride control is really important before buying any car. You can take a test drive of the car and you can check for the following things: Take the car in a rough road, and keep a count on how does the car ride on the semi-road. Keep a note on the suspension on how it takes a bump Keep a check on the steering if its smooth or taking extra effort to move it Is the car making noise when you are putting brakes Check for other unusual noises as well when you are test driving it
  5. The most common reason of clutch failure is the oil leak. If this is the case, then one should never replace the clutch until and unless the oil leak is fixed. Another reason can be bearing not installed properly. In such a case, the driver should not rapidly ride the clutch every time. I suppose these are the common clutch failure in a car. Please share if others know more. Thank you
  6. Can you please explain more about the global codes and enhanced trouble codes. Thank you
  7. Hi. My name is Bassim. Recently I am reading upon the trouble codes that one faces in their car. Some of us must be knowing that we use OBDII to generate the fault codes in the car. Can anyone tell me how many kinds of fault codes are detected in a car? i am sure the information will be very useful to those to try to scan the trouble code in their car by their own.
  8. Sure. But make sure that if you are using the voltmeter, all the lights and the engine of the car is switched off!
  9. There is a vacuum system in the engine which works upon the air. Whenever there is a leak in that vacuum, problems like stalling of the car are noticeable. This is known as Engine Vacuum leaks.
  10. To check the electric circuit of the car, one can use either the light test or the typical voltmeter to check whether there is a voltage in the circuit or not.Light test is comparatively not that accurate when using the voltmeter but they are good for quick volt test.

  13. Maintenance actually depends upon how old the car is? If you are buying a new BMW car, then comparatively with other cars, you dont have to spend for maintenance for may be next 5 years. But if you are buying an old car, then you are not only welcoming the car in your house, but also all the associated maintenance issues with it. So just keep a note on that!
