I have few friends who have used Total Chaos and swear by it, it's really a rally grade stuff. You can get them from Mebar auto or TORC, both are in al quoz.
-
Thanks, Guys for valuable inputs and so far I'm inclined on Samsung or similar options for 3 prime reasons: 4-5 day battery life, one less headache to charge daily. (BIG REASON) Customizable dial to place things on screen that matters the most unlike Apple (less customizable). Prefer round shape than square for classic watch feel. Anyone using Fitbit, Huawei GT here and what's there feedback? @syedyaseer I used to be Sony fan as well and ditched in 2017 and switch to Samsung Note and now I like my Note much better than all previous Sony Xperia I used and also better than my current iPhone.
-
I wish if it was that simple, but let's keep it short by saying I like both equally and now looking for capable and useful smartwatch apart from the fluff offered through all review videos.
-
Sorry to not to mention this before, which seems like a root cause to my confusion. I'm using both iPhone and Samsung Note.
-
Which you will choose and why? I am evaluating smartwatch evolution from last few years and I think now it has reached to a stage where I can ditch my old fashion timepiece due to sturdiness, battery life and varies watch faces available with these wearable smart watches now. I'm not a smartwatch kind of a guy yet, so prefer to hear from someone who is using one on actual things to consider before buying your first smartwatch. I'm confused between Samsung watch 4 - 46mm vs Apple watch 4 - 44mm.

Intermediate Morning Drive - Big Red - 26 April 2019
Gaurav replied to Srikumar's topic in Off-Road Club's Offroad Drives
Well, get the basic industrial shovel for 10-15 dhs that comes with wooden handle and metal scoop. And keep trying the full metal, as it's always a good practice to keep two shovels because many times when you are stuck everyone will come near your car to inspect and then go back to there car to get shovels. If you have two that can speed up recovery faster.- 44 replies

Intermediate Morning Drive - Big Red - 26 April 2019

And unfortunately your drive lead is a sober guy, so you can't even bribe him with Mezcal to keep the drive on with 3 cars. Maybe think of something else.- 44 replies

Now that's the case of shady workmanship or sub standard or non rated parts. Nothing to do with car. Even my Pajero was about to go up in flames as aux fan switch shorted because it was installed without a fuse with a bad quality Chinese switch, but this all failed when I was driving. Who wired your car to leave live ignition switch when car was turned off.....?

I couldn't agree more of Tesla being a buzz word but honestly it's still surprises me how can a parked car catch fire......? Everyone talking about supercar and hypercar catching fire but that's due to extreme pushing or accident like even in desert toys when pushed to max they burst into a flames. Fully understandable. How many times anyone here witnessed a parked car catching a fire....? This reminds me of of note 7 battery or hooverboard exploding issue.

This one is the craziest one as Tesla caught fire while parked and not hitting anything like in previous explosions. Watch till the end with fullscreen, with smoke coming for a long time before the fire explosion.

Ticking/clicking noise - Mitsubishi common issue?
Gaurav replied to Keithryan's topic in Mitsubishi Pajero Forum in UAE
Which engine oil (brand and spec) you are running and how old it is? -
Brilliant share @G.huz I have received this yesterday while I was out and until now it was in the back of my mind to share and you did it before me. Like these days soft shackles are must, I think we regularly need to check our tow points for internal corrosion over time. @Frederic is there any stress test available to see if existing tow hook can be rated against 4-5 tons pull? Just a thought

Dealing with the heat when Offroading
Gaurav replied to Frederic's topic in Off-Road Club's Discussions
Very nicely written @Frederic, just like to add two more points: Water intake is dependent on your body weight And also the number of mins you are exercising https://goodcalculators.com/water-intake-calculator/ For same body weight, 3.83 litres is required for 30 mins workout, but 4.9 litres is required if you work out for 2 hours -
Thanks, @Javier M for sharing such problem with its solution, makes a perfect example of how anyone can contribute there car owning experience and it's little problem as they happen on a daily basis. Every thread need not to be 10,000 words long or bringing some special feature or crazy angle. If everyone shares this little experiences then it will help a lot of other car owners in the future.

For all ultra expensive parts above 3K price, better to bet on used parts as even if you get half life with 1/10 or 1/20 of price, still make better sense.
