  1. Give the coordinates too, you never know it might help someone save lot of time
  2. That's the problem with everyone these days, always hasty to ask in the beginning and when ripped off then they have all the time for sharing sad stories with every minute detail. Little time and patience go a long way.
  3. So what does 30 A x 3 means, Mr. Einstein.......? That's my AMP manual page 16/72 https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/StaticFiles/Manuals/Car/GM-D9605_OwnersManual062716.pdf
  4. I totally agree on every point you said to upgrade one thing at a time so that you can understand how that change improved the sound quality. Barry helped me a lot in doing proper wiring with oxygen-free cables and soldering instead of twisting that eliminate a lot of low-end hissing and music cut off while doing sideys.
  5. Well said and documented @Frederic, 1 like is not at all enough for such detailed and crisp explanation. In the morning, I was busy and though @DiamondDallas merge two different questions in one post so I assume no point in explaining all things in details and let him research bit on Crutchfield first and then we can slowly build upon.
  6. For seat cover, the best place is Deira naif where the shops are next to each other so you can pick and choose the style, color, and price very quickly. Satwa is also good in Dubai but Naif is better in pricing. Maybe someone staying in Sharjah can advise a few seat cover shops in Sharjah too. If you are looking for a complete redo of upholstery and looking for professional guys Dubai: https://carnity.com/business_listing/car-care-services/car-upholstery/lamst-fn-upholstery-cars-r1162 https://carnity.com/business_listing/car-care-services/car-upholstery/al-kashkha-auto-upholstery-r1115 https://carnity.com/business_listing/car-care-services/car-upholstery/golden-sun-car-upholstery-car-accessories-r1085 Sharjah: https://carnity.com/business_listing/car-care-services/car-upholstery/britania-auto-seat-upholstery-r682 https://carnity.com/business_listing/car-care-services/car-upholstery/discovery-auto-upholstery-accessories-r673 https://carnity.com/business_listing/car-care-services/car-upholstery/noor-al-fajr-auto-seats-upholstery-r670 For Music system, my advice is to stick to all component of one brand to get better output, also research bit on Crutchfield site to mix and match the wattage and type of amp and sub. There comparisons and advices are awesome
  7. It's almost impossible to not to find any spare part in a scrapyard, at the same time it's also tough to find what you need in the first attempt. Remember scouting scrap is not going to the supermarket and pick a can of cola, you need to know how to hunt really well based on inputs from those guys. Every guy say no - should ask him where I can find? will you be able to source this for me? As many times these people get stuff and it gets sold out really fast, so distributing your number to those prospective guys really help. Secondly following there trail of leads also help as they are sitting in that market and know what type of product is available with one specialized scrapyard and when you go over there you will see hundreds of option and feel stupid to not to reach that place 5 days ago. Anyways I searched few scrapyards who deals with Nissan used parts in Sharjah through Carnity Business Listing, call them and see if you get lucky
  8. @Javier M you do get Optima here too and they outperform very well in UAE, just at double or close to the triple price of Amaron / Varta @hossein you used single solite for 6-7 years....? As it never lasted more than 13-14 months in my case of Pajero and wifey Trailblazer
  9. Based on your 10 drive overall offroad experience, you are good to join this Sweihan fewbie level drive. Once we observe your drive in Sweihan we will promote you to the fewbie rank afterwards
  10. Every offroader who is part of Carnity Offroad Club needs to follow the Offroad club grading structure explaining the number of drives and criteria required to attain certain offroad rank. Once you qualify the number of drives attended and criteria fulfilled, please notify @Rahimdad OR @Gaurav OR @Asif Hussain OR @Srikumar OR @Emmanuel for requesting your rank upgrade in person or PM or on the forum. Offroaders who have other club experience are requested to inform any of the above senior members and explain the drive experience you hold so that we can assign you the appropriate rank as per your overall offroad experience.
  11. @amir.rophail and @Djamelus Sweihan is a fewbie level drive, means you should be having at least 5 drive experience to attend. If you already have 5 or more drive experience with Carnity or elsewhere, please explain here.
  12. Good one, but he doesn't give a blue or red pill instead he offers violet
  13. Either take off the key or turn ignition half way so that radio can be switched on and this beep won't come in half ignition ON
  14. Many many happy returns of the day @Barry God bless you with a lot of greasy knowledge and strong fingers to type and share your wisdom with everyone. Happy Birthday to one of the best community contributor here at Carnity.
  15. It's called key in ignition beep/chime
  16. Yes, that's the same thing I mention. Those bells come when you just insert the key and don't turn ignition half or full right...? And that sound will not come if you just remove the key. It's only at OFF position and half ignition ON you get those beep beep noise
  17. It's for reminding you that key is inside so that you don't walk away without locking your car. Also, a long beep is there like teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, is when you leave headlight on and switch off the car to remind you to switch off the headlight before you flat the battery.
  18. Yes KYB and Tokiko something is the OEM one, but better to stick to same with Habtoor for eliminating any doubts or surprises.
  19. @vishlad702 if you aren't using the car for offroading and previously happy with the stock setup, my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION is to stick to original Mitsubishi shock setup to not to open a big can of worms come with another shock unless they are the direct replacement. @Praveenmp same goes for you but halfway as you are offroading and with this shock change opportunity you can look into upgrading to stiffer suspension or adjustable setup to have best of both worlds: Soft for road + hard for offroad. In your case moving away from stock suspension is better and advisable but do your research on various brands like Tough dog, Ranchos, Old Man, Rough Country, Dobinsons, Kings etc. to see what price point you are looking at.
  20. It's almost there and it's coming out really nice and cinematic. Bilal and his friend is really working hard.
  21. Beautiful dunes and virgin sand, having so many footprints and no tire-marks.....? Why why why...............................?
  22. RIP Haynes, I myself used and followed Haynes manual many times and appreciated there hard work and precise instructions to teach any mechanic like pros. God bless his soul and RIP Mr. John Haynes
  23. Thanks, everyone for nice words, but actual congratulations goes to you all for liking and encouraging the contribution. However, the real reason to get so many likes is the drive images that get liked by so many users
  24. I have also tried Carnity on Taptalk and few others too if I remember correctly @Rahimdad @Srikumar and @Asif Hussain Later on, I moved back to the mobile site, as its faster than app who keeps on think for seconds to fetch the live data
