  1. The moment you hit full throttle, car automatically downshift and change the fuel, throttle and engine management program change to sports one.
  2. Best place for Mercedes i know in Dubai after Gargash is Mercedes R us in Rashidya, google there number and check with them if they can install such option. There is another VIP german garage in rashidiya as well, but be clear with them as i have heard some dramatic story of inflating price after job is done and customer is in no position to argue or bargain other then just pay. So if they say they can do that, get that in writing or on email and stick to the agreed price.
  3. can be any of the 3 things 1st sensors have gone bad 2nd fuse is bad 3rd connection is bad
  4. Disconnect the battery terminal for 5 mins, and make sure all fuses are in place and start if it fixes its fine, else you need OBD II compliant tool to clear the code and switch off the light. Sorry dude, dont finger again in wrong place.
  5. You must be running long tube headers or cold spark plug. Its one of these causing this and i wouldnt worry much if it stabilises at operating temp so its fine. Also get it check your air flow meter, it might be freaking or partially working. Better remove its clip once car is on and see if car engine stops then its fine, if it keep running w/o AFM then that means ur AFM is partially gone and its time to change and dont hit dunes much as Merc AFM is sensitive to sand.....
  6. Something must be broken inside the driver door and stuck on the groove. See good denter who can open the door and then gently pry the whole lock assembly out and diagnose, Better change once there.
  7. You need to change the whole assembly there, better source from scrap from similar half cut available in shj.
  8. check battery terminal is fixed fine and clean. Then check alternator, means start car and remove battery to see if car is running. If car still runs that means alternator is fine too and if it stalls and switch of that mean it was running on battery than on alternator that means you have numbered hrs of drive and rush to workshop for change of alternator.
  9. Its not wires only my friend. It has brake pad sensor on other side of those wires that sits inside the brake pad and get worn off while brake pads are getting use. Fix those sensors and light will go off, no reset required.
  10. It sounds like starter motor is ageing, get it diagnose with computerized tool and confirm.

I live in Marina and work in Tecom, drive S500 currently and have driven more than 10 different merc in past (too many to mention here). Good to see some UAE Dubai based forum for Mercedes discussion and knowledge sharing. Mods and Admin keep it up and keep it clean.
  12. Thats very weird to see all three sensor failure at once. Hard to believe though. Better get second opinion from another good garage like VIP garage in rashidiya or Mercedes R us in rashidiya. They both are german car specialist and very professional.
  13. hi guys, i was coming from abu dhabi last monday and the Fuel injector sensor, Cam shaft sensor, Crank shaft sensor all failed at once and the car loss power i had to call the recovery and they took it to the service center where they said to diagnose the issue i will have to pay 500 before they tell what the problem....... can anybody help me
