Drive Preparation: 1. Ensure that your 4x4 is well serviced recently and all the lubes and fluids are topped up. 2. 20 Liter fuel jerry can. 3. A full fuel tank at the meeting point. 4. Spare tyre should be in good working condition. If not been used recently, ensure that you take it out and check the condition properly. Also ensure that you have the wrench that can be used to remove your tyre (if needed). In the past we have seen that people upgrade their tyres but still keep the the original wrench which is of no use to remove the upgraded tyre. So please ensure that your car has the right tool to remove the tyres (if needed). 5. Air compressor, proper shovel, flag, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, 6. Fully charged radio (tuned to all Carnity Frequencies) with spare battery / radio. If you have a car charger for your radio, please bring it along. 7. All traction controls, ABS and Air bags need to be switched off. If it requires pulling the fuse, please research before the drive or post your queries on this drive post or forum and our experts would assist you. 8. Car charger / battery pack for your mobile. 9. Plenty of water, approx 10 liter per person 10. Bring along your breakfast, lunch, snacks, etc in easy to eat packing. We shall be having breaks in between the drive. 11. Dry food, energy bar, cookies, nuts, crisp to munch while driving 12. Bring garbage bags along to carry your trash. Littering in the desert is strictly prohibited. Keep checking this list, as it might grow further in coming days. All the above points are mandatory and your participation on the drive would be refused on the drive day by the trip lead if you fail to comply with the above. Note - COVID 19 Test Requirement: Covid19 Test is mandatory to enter Abu Dhabi Emirates. DPI or PCR test has to be done 48hrs before entering to Abu Dhabi. If so please specify. Does your vehicle have front and back tow points and are they in perfect condition ? As a perfect preparation for your first drive with us, please go through the Absolute Newbie Briefing video posted below which really helps in getting you to understand the first basic essentials, so please watch it with full attention: MUST WATCH: NEWBIE VIDEO BRIEFING For your first drive, please bring a tire pressure gauge and a deflator so you can deflate your tires. These are readily available in ACE Hardware, Apex Hardware, Adventure HQ or tire shops and hardware shops near you. If you do have offroad gear such as a flag, shovel, recovery rope or others, please bring it along as well. If you have a UHF Radio you can bring it along, and program it to the Carnity Frequencies as per the below post. If you don't have radio we will provide spare radio to use. Jerrycan with 20L of extra Petrol (VERY IMPORTANT). The gas tank should be full upon arrival. We plan to explore Bu Hasa area near Madinat Zayed City this time and head toward Liwa Oasis direction while passing through "Tropic of Cancer" and visiting the famous "Liwa Yellow Truck" a abandoned water tanker buried in desert since so many years. Those who wish to join this drive from Dubai it's a 3+ hours to the meeting point, so ideally well rested body will enjoy this whole day drive without much fatigue, so reaching a night before and camping or sleeping in the car at meeting point would be ideal, but completely optional for everyone. This drive is organized in full compliance with the COVID19 guidelines. You will learn to self-drive your vehicle from experts having decades of off-roading experience in the UAE. This area offers a good mix of playable long set of dunes and broad ridges to test your off-road control. Drive is open for all 4x4/4WD/SUV/AWD vehicles having 8-10 inches of ground clearance and (MANDATORY) Front and rear tow hooks (MANDATORY) What you'll learn: Introduction to off-roading. Desert driving basics and etiquette. Desert driving tips, techniques, myth and best practices. Off-road and safety gear familiarization and recovery procedures. Vehicle orientation, risk analysis, deflation and outdoor safety advice. First time with Carnity Off-road Club: Please share your vehicle details - Make, Model, Year.   12. PCR test done at any private hospitals with negative result is also accepted to enter Abu Dhabi. The results are valid for 48hours and you should enter before that. PCR test usually takes 24 to 48hrs to get the report, so plan your test accordingly.
  13. @Niki Patel after loosing 3 TPMS and AED 900 to fix it, I came up with a unique idea sitting at home. TPMS in my ford is fixed in the middle of rim using metal band. I removed all 4 TPMS and fixed in spare tyre (all four in one) and my problem was solved and i is to have pop out happily😃. I guess your model has a TPMS in valve and my idea will not work for you. There is way out to delete this warning light permanently from ECU or by bypassing. Yota forums will definitely have solution for you.
