    DRIVE DETAILS Level: Absolute Newbie, Newbie and above When: 21 Sept 2025, Sunday Meeting time: 6:30 AM - Sharp (Without any exceptions) Meeting Point: Batayeh Farm Track: https://goo.gl/maps/wVRWfBhKKidwhzCy5 Approximate finish time: 10:30 AM approx Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. Mandatory off-road gears: Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit, and fire extinguisher.

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE This drive is limited to 12 cars only. If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist. Once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list. RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list. Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions. Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions.   4. My sincere condolences to you and your family Danie You drove excellent @Chrismayer ! Ishak threw some good challenges at all of us, with some decent ridge riding and technical maneuvers but you guys rocked it.
  5. Hi @Theo Prado on my previous vehicle i also chose for a rustproofing done by an external company and was happy with the result. That same year i drove to Salalah so the car was exposed to a lot of water, including driving along the beach. The salt is very punishing but went for a hose-down later that night. Around 1year later when i sold the car i could also again find some minimal rust spots, which i think are unavoidable but this is purely some very minor surface rust and does nothing to harm the metal (i believe). Applying it yourself is indeed perhaps a good option, and Rust-Oleum is well known so it won't do any harm for sure.
