  1. Dear @Theodoros Andreou The 2017 will be either the 3.5 or the 3.8. The 3.8 model will have the 3.8 label on the backside and also when you open the bonnet you will find the large MIVEC logo on the engine cover. If that is not there i would say it's probably a 3.5. The car has a timing belt, if there is no service book i would highly recommend to get the belt done. Better to spend on a belt than to replace the engine. I think 120k is the belt service but not 100% sure. The car has a brain (ECU) but will not show last services. My opinion: if there is no service history or book from the previous owner: WALK AWAY. There are tons of nice Pajeros for sale with full service history from the dealer, so i believe it's not worth the risk, unless the price is REALLY very low.

  5. The new owner will enjoy this powerful beast. You mastered and tamed it perfectly and it’s a shame we can’t enjoy your drives anymore.
  6. I had a similar issue which was resolved after logging out and back in. Take note that for the topics related to the wadis and camping: This is categorized under a separate "club" so youll need to head over the the main page and click on "join club". Hope this resolves your issue.

  10. Thanks for the signup @Zubail but i will be canceling the hike and post a Newbie drive instead for Saturday morning.
  11. I had the best results with Michelin tires and stock suspension.
  12. Ajban is definitely an interesting area. Nestled inbetween Faqa and Nahel, this area is usually not that frequented a lot by other clubs, but we did found some cross-tracks on the larger dunes. With a sizeable convoy, we first started into the technical area but as i realized there was a bit too much vegetation, i decided to start heading south towards the bigger dunes. Thanks to the fantastic support of @Imteeaz and @Luke K P, and fantastic sweep and second lead duties of @Andrei S and @Andrew John Melvill, we had a convoy that stuck together and worked together all morning. What else could i have wished for! The bigger dunes brought some challenges along the way, and the sand was still really soft in some areas, which made climbing the bowls fun and allowed us to let the cars growl a bit @INSTINCT going through his very first drive in the sand, hats off for keeping a cool head at all times ! You did great today! Same goes for the rest of the newbies who proved that amongst the more senior guys they could stand their ground Thank you all for joining. Onto many more adventures to come !
