Congratulations @Ale Vallecchi!!! I am not surprised to see you getting promoted. I absolutely enjoy all your drives either as a senior member, or, as was the case lately, as Lead. Perfect combination of skills, challenge and fun. Looking forward to driving more with you buddy! -

Thank you everyone. Bu t honestly the kudos belongs to @Shamil and @Srikumar for planning and leading a fantastic drive. I was pleased to get another recovery under my belt and got to use the rope. Everyone did exceptionally well, and the play area we were led to was brilliant fun. The summer sands are unforgiving, and we had another learning moment re the importance of deflating for the hot sand. I relished rounding up the remainder of the convoy and to lead them to the safety of the team who was helping change a damaged tyre. Thank you for the trust and opportunity. P.S. : The videos are in the gallery 😉

Congratulations @Matti Brockman! You showed great skills in the last drive where I had the opportunity to witness your driving style. It was obvious that you were enjoying the experience and had absolutely no issues keeping up with the Leads. Nice to see drivers persist in spite of the weather and its impact on the sand.

How to turn off traction in Nissan Xterra

Excellent suggestion! I’m sure @Foxtrot Oscar would also sign up for such workshop/course. -

I have also thought about taking some automotive training courses to get more knowledge and experience handling car maintenance and problems, a better understanding of car mechanics. If Carnity organizes some in the future I would be happy to join. I can spare a few hundreds of dirhams for that purpose. -

Maybe the new Xterra owners can organize a get-together and DIY approach, under a more experienced supervision, like a mini-workshop ☺️ -

How to turn off traction in Nissan Xterra

I only have the Traction control switch button, and I do notice now that I'm doing more serious drives that the car needs ABS kill switch too. But I did fine without it in Newbie drives. -
This truly means a lot to me @Rahimdad! And you are totally right. Since I found Paco, I have been learning so much. Even before, I was lucky to have you around, accepting me as co-pilot and teaching me everything there is to know whenever the opportunity arose. I extend my thanks to @Emmanuel, @Shamil, @Srikumar and the big boss @Gaurav. I also want to thank @Foxtrot Oscar for allowing me to wreck her car at the very start of this amazing experience! 😁
