  1. @Ale VallecchiUnfortunately I also need to withdraw..just had a look at the car and seems like an oil leak from the steering oil reservoir..looks like its cracked a bit...not risking it, although it looks minor... Everyone..have fun with the convoy getting shorter!!
  2. Congrats @Russ..Looks like you are on a promotion spree!! 😄👍👍
  3. Hey @Morshedi..another yellow wranglerino!!..I believe we did our first absolute newbie drive together in April?? Welcome back....🤘 and congrats!!
  4. Thanks @Ale Vallecchi for the drive today morning... was looking for a nice and relaxing drive for the kids/family, and they loved it and enjoyed every opportunity to get out of the car and watch yourself and @Russ in action for all the recoveries. Good to meet and drive with all the newbies, @Belal Aldaour - good job as 2L , hope you got the hang of it ,in maintaining the right distance , ready to promptly reroute or stop at the split second request of the Lead @takeshi sobue - great drive, couldn't see much of you except for a couple of re-attempts @Azeem M, @Simon Dawood the LWB pajero boys were left with their rear fender out of shape, which is normal. time to install skid plates, before joining higher level drives !! Pointers to Azeem - technique of maintaining the right distance from the car in front. I could see that you were too far from Takeshi and on the verge of losing the track at times. As you join more drives, this should come naturally to you Simon - Fishtailing at someplaces, i suggest to think in terms of technique/approach angle etc rather than raw power and flooring the gas for climbs/side slopes. @Mark D - Great drive, just in front of me , without much issues except for occasionally churning up the sand for me, which is off course by nature of Raptors @ahmed salama with his cool TJ and first NB drive if i am not wrong, managed well. couple of crests are bound to happen in every ones off-road life, take home the learning! @Harshad Ashraf and @Goh KP - couldnt see much of you as you were driving further behind. Good to meet everyone, and looking forward to the next one!
  5. Congratulations Doc @M.Seidam.....well deserved and looking forward to joining one of your drives.... Btw we had a fly by today morning at Qudra between our convoys!!! 😀
  6. No surprises here…it was only a matter of time... well done @Hisham Masaad… looking forward to another desert adventure With you!!!
  7. Hi @Ale Vallecchi, i am not signed in for this drive..dont remember clicking "going" tab as well 🤔🤔. Apologies if i did it by mistake, but tomorrow afternoon does not look like i can be away from work.
  8. It was a really amazing and excellent drive @Hisham Masaad, and never felt like it was only your 3rd drive in lead. The last time i joined you and @Jeepie was back in July during my Fewbie days , same area around pink rock where i had 2 longitudinal stucks ...so returning here with the same combination, had a different and nostalgic feeling. Thank you for entrusting me with the CF role, it was a bit humbling, i should say , because i could feel the weight of the responsibility you guys were bearing while in support previously , and also learnt that there is a long way to go to emulate the stalwarts at Carnity !!. Good to meet everyone @KAMALIO @AlexM @Davie Chase @Waqas Parvez @Vaibhav @Reggie Landicho , all new faces for me, and congrats to @Peter Hager on his debut sweep role, good job !! All of you drove really well , keep perfecting your skills and improving the sync with your car . See you all soon !!
  9. Congrats @Shaaz Sha on yet another wonderfully lead drive, under the able guidance of @Ale Vallecchi. It was my first time in proper Abu Dhabi, the terrain was tricky and i believe the whole drive was one notch above FB as we had some not-so-easy crossings, some sharp maneuvers, soft sand bowls etc. the sand on slip faces was literally flowing like water at the slightest touch!! The lines taken by Shaaz, offered us the right blend of excitement, challenges and adrenaline rush and an overall content feeling after the drive. @Santoso Marjuki had the opportunity to practice some self recovery by playing with all the techie buttons his Rubicon could offer. You can be proud to have conquered this terrain!! 👍 @Adhir Saxena is back to the desert after a stint of 2 months ,driving in front of me, had couple of refusals and stuck. Thus giving me the chance to do my FIRST TUG EVER, in my off-road life. I did not announce it earlier , lest you may be scared 😄😂. Your name will be written in red letters in my off-road history book ......Thanks @Ale Vallecchi for the guidance and prompts given during the tug. Good to drive again with senior drivers @Looper who was right behind me , @Zed who i met after a long time, and @Thomas Varghese who was his usual self - very active with his comments, interactions and guidance. Thanks to @Tbone for handling the responsibility of sweep, and hope that you sort put your car issues soon!! Till we meet again!!
  10. Hey @Bernard Kalaani....congrats...se you soon on one of the drives!!
