Hi @samamara I have installed the kill switch at a local garage in Sharjah for 125AED. The front and rear skid plate was installed at a garage in Abudhabi for 1100aed, they offered me a free flag mounting bracket as well. You can call me on 0552057361 to know the garage details.

Hi @Gauravthe front skid plate ( 6mm aluminum) which I installed doesn’t not extend to offer protection for the engine oil pan, it is the same size of stock skid plate, the garage retained the fiber stock skid plate for the oil pan as they said extension is not necessary. Please share your thoughts on this, should I extend?

@FredericIt is always a pleasure to drive with you, thanks for your valuable drive lessons and advises which had really helped in enhancing my off-road driving skills. I was bit concerned about the capability of my 3.0 LWB to drive in sand but you have instilled confidence in me and I have gone through all the topics you have posted in carnity to convert Pajero into a off-road worthy vehicle. The Pajero forum in Carnity offers lot of information on this topic, so I was well prepared for this drive with the knowledge acquired from the experiences of other team members. Thanks Frederic and carnity team for making this encyclopedia of off-road information available to us.

Really enjoyed the drive, it was wonderful and thrilling for beginners like me, appreciate the support you guys provided, I have learned many things from this drive which will definitely enhance my desert driving skills in the future trips. Unfortunately my Lexus let me down with it’s low approach angle, I took it a local garage in mussafah, they have temporarily fixed it but most of the plastic clips in the bumper were broken so it doesn’t have the strength to take another hard impact, to my surprise the dealer quoted 3500 AED for the small plastic piece which came off , even though it is a useless accessory. Off roading with the Lexus will be bad idea as it will dent my pocket as well . I am in search for a on old model Pajero or path finder to use exclusively for off-roading. Hope to find to it soon as I really want stay active in carnity with such a great team. Thanks to all for your supports.
