  1. Congratulations @Mehmet Volga. Love your ever smiling attitude on any drive. Well done my dear
  2. Dear @Lorenzo Candelpergher Sorry I am late to the party as I am away having a small vacation. Absolutely fantastic to see your progress all the way to the top. How you have handled a not so easy car beautifully- Y62 , is a testament to your off road capabilities. From the time you have been an IM , your presence on any drives was a blessing to have for all the team work you bring along. I still remember how you handled some tricky recoveries on my first independent lead at IM level, when I had butterflies in my stomach. From then on joining your drives as support would always make me learn and realise how focused you were with 1. Adding a flavor to even a well known area 2. Meticulous planning 3. Excellent timings- especially to start on time 4. Fantastic briefings and camaraderie which made you more respected among the members.( to an extent your drives are no longer desert or off road drives but they are termed "Lorenzo" drives ) Congratulations once again and wonderful to have you here as a marshall @Lorenzo Candelpergher
  3. Wow @Islam Soliman, my first gut feeling that you will make it all the way to marshall is when we managed a impossible pop out in a super soft bowl behind Faya (with @Emmanuel)and 2nd drove from Yahar to sweihan lady dune and then progressed all the way near adnoc sweihan.(along with @Kailas) I was absolutely mesmerised how well you controlled that beast-yukon driving at the back in a convoy. At times when everyone was driving so well and you pushed the limits ,it was beautiful to see how you managed it. Quite impressive how you have experimented, taken some risks, planned some engaging drives propelled your promotion to Marshall @Islam Soliman. Well done and proud of you my friend.
  4. Enjoy your next adventures safely @Juzer Talib, challenges and fun increase with each drive.
  5. Yalla @Mohamad Anwer. Good progress and congratulations habibi
  6. Drive Report: Always a pleasure to welcome new members into this amazing club - and considering the few sign ups and a smallish convoy I was sure we were going to have a fantastic time out there. All members arrived on time which was great to see, their enthusiasm was visible. @Shynil Hashimhad to drop out few min into the drive and @Praveen Raj Rajan had to go back after prepping for the drive - sad to see this, but I would advise you to get your car checked thoroughly for any faulty wiring , all the tire valves checked and specifically look if they are rusted . Your right rear wheel lug nuts were cold welded making them impossible to remove, which needs to be sorted too - do check the nuts on all 4 tires . I am sorry I am specifically listing all, so that you cross verify all there with your garage. I/we want you to come with a car which is fit to take out into the sands for your and everyone's safety. @Bharath Rao driving for the first time, in his awesome FJ was a bit shy initially but as the drive progressed he was super confident. Few very nice self recoveries, playing with the 4-L , Diff lock and A trac . You have a fantastic machine buddy to enjoy all the drives as you progress. @Juzer Talib was the driver for the day. Driving a Koleos , I was expecting few issues to happen. But as I slowly bumped up the challenges, and as everyone was getting in sync with their cars responsiveness it was delightful to watch how you managed your car considering the slightly lower bumpers. Do share your videos if any. @Prakash Anoop managed his wrangler well. Initially was a bit foot heavy, but as the drive progressed he found his balance right. You made those dune crossings look an easy task considering you were driving for first time. Wrangler is a great car to explore and learn further. All of you did well, considering all were driving for the first time on sands. Different cars but all managed well. Special thanks to @Islam Soliman for supporting this drive, some valuable inputs at briefing and advises for recovery.
