  1. Hi @Lisa Pemberton i agree with what @Gaurav mentioned. my advice will be instead of making the plate bend to cover the from area, you can have it little bit widen (as per the below drawing) will be more useful when hitting on the dune or what ever bushes in the off-roading. I recommend to use maximum 8mm plate only, 10mm plate would be very heavy and its dangerous when its hit on the ground. And its recommend to use original stock skid plate same bolt hole to fix the new plate rather than making so many holes underneath to fix the new plate. And at the end its all about your choice and preferences what kind of modification you would like to do it on your car.
  2. Hi @Frederic its all with the support and professional off-road training by Carnity Marshals. On last drive after coming down from super bowl i come to know that it was super bowl because it was my first time driving in super bowl and iftar bowl. Really got surprised how the pajero made it all most at top even through in first gear and really appreciate@Srikumar for the perfect route which makes every one easy.
  3. Here come another video, what went wrong here. 119187003_239832810745465_4132309444218868461_n.mp4
  4. Hi @Lisa Pemberton the issue of tire touching on the bumper will solve by cutting the lower part of bumper as per marked by @Srikumar and @Frederic, but its better to be done in any garage because at the back side there are some bolts which need to be removed to do this job, cutting will be very simply done with knife but after that at the back side of the bumper there is plastic flap which need to be securely fit it to the bumper. The skid plate i have done at Al Jazeera, Sharjah, 8MM plate with powder coating and fixing total cost 1090 Dhs. It will be less if you don't want powder coating. pcs for reference.
  5. @Lisa Pemberton you can visit the garage back and inform them to fix the plate with bolt at the both sides. There has been no issue with my plate until now. Definitely they will make some solution to fix them properly without coming out.
  6. Hi @Ale Vallecchi sorry for the last minute notice, I must pull out from this drive due to an emergency situation at the work place. Really missed the drive and see you next time.
  7. Wrong way of criss crossing, he should have been ride over the ridge little bit further down and cross the other side of the dune.
  8. It was really an adventures drive today since it was my first intermediate drive, me and my pajero did something today which never done before and i really wondered in some places how the car reacted in terms of power and climbs (of course i was in tip-tronic) When i arrive at the deflation point and seeing all the king of desert Jeepers and FJ super power off road cars, i was thinking how do i able to keep the pace with my 3.5L LWB pajero and i think i was able to maintain the pace and route in a possible manner. Thank you very much @Srikumar for organizing such an amazing route with lots of bowls and am really happy playing super bowl and iftar bowl. And all the co drivers where doing amazing drive today. And it was sad as well as shocking to see the other club FJ has fired at the iftar bowl, even though we have help them for giving our fire extinguisher. See you all soon, and wishing every one wonderful week ahead. Thank you.
