FYI, I just ziplock the flag pole (a fishing rod) to the rear gate handle.

Do I need night lights for the night driving? I don't have it yet.

Congrats @Jeepie for your promotion. Its great to have you and @Wrangeld in the drives. You 2 make an amazing team. -
Another great report by @Wrangeld. Love it. It was an amazing opportunity for me to be 2nd lead for the first time. I was really excited and pressured at the same time. @Gauravcould see me grinning like a Cheshire cat on his rearview mirror. Kudos to our 3 absolute newbies @Nikola Bozovic @George Francisand @Carlos Fernandez who tackled the dunes well. Thanks to @Luca Bregni (he, he) we had an additional drive to Badayer and check out the dunes there with a short night drive thrown in.

E.C. Tan has been promoted to fewbie level

@Gaurav Thank you very much for the promotion. Really very appreciative of all the support and comadrie of this group. Still have mush to learn and share. Thanks again -
This is a very interesting topic to discuss. As a newbie, I like to share what I had done and learnt. 1. The last 2 drives, I have deflated to 14 p.s.i. as oppose to 15 p.s.i. previously. I am surprised that 1 p.s.i. made so much difference in getting me out of potential refusals. At the end of the drive, before inflating, I checked and found that the pressure was up to 15 p.s.i. (this is evening drive, so the outside temp is cooler). 2. The last weekend drive, after we dropped off the Tuareg and Gaurav took us to more technical terrains, I saw my temp gauge pointer, a little bit over the centre. (It always has been in the centre for previous drives.) As a precaution, I turned off my a.c., in a short while the pointer was back to the centre. I continued the rest of the drive without a.c. till when we were near the cycling track. FYI, I am driving a Jeep Wrangler JK 2016, without any modifications.

Awesome drive today guys. Thanks again to @Gaurav for leading us to a newbie drive with a fewbie feel. Thanks to @Ale Vallecchiand @Wrangeldtoo. I am impressed with the VW Touareg @amro elshafey Just to share an observation. Communication is very important during the drives. I believe that is determines the safety of everyone. It is therefore important that if anyone is in any difficulty please communicate. This also includes, if you decide to pull over or pull out from the convoy. Thanks guys again for the great afternoon.
