  1. Hi @Luca Palanca Falsini, sorry I have missed this message that you ask me to confirm. Yes, I'd like to join ...
  2. Hello I would like to take my company personnel to buggy driving in Abu Dhabi. Buggies should be Polaris type of a 2 seaters, not quad bikes. Can anyone recommend a good quality service provider in Abu Dhabi ? Tero
  3. My challenge is that I have 2 DPIs taken in a row, which are visible in Alhosn.... but I will confirm this immediately I receive news. As said, if you have one to come from WL, go ahead and book him. I hate to make any last call cancellations...
  4. Hello @Emmanuel ! PCR test done and negative result received to mobile SMS but not to Alhosn. I have pushed Clinic and they are working over this but if Alhosn will not be there, I will not get through to Abu Dhabi.😡 I shall still wait the result. If there is anyone else in WL who has PCR etc. set-up ready, you may let him to join instead of myself. I don't want book the place for nothing, if I am not able to pass the border tomorrow.
  5. @Anish S & @Brette, yeah, your point regarding resale value of the car makes sense...
  6. HI @luwaimn, I am driving with just a stock Prado, do not have skid plates or anything really. Looking now the engine area below, I would say skid plates definitely makes sense. Low liners definitely no go, they'll be lost in first drive. If you wish to have a sturdy front, steel bumper makes sense. It will increase weight a bit, maybe 30 kg +. I don't think this additional weight will impact your car performance too much though, hardly at all, if you have 4,0 l engine. It has plenty of power. @Luca Palanca Falsini has in his Fortuner modified steel bumper and looks cool and certainly will not get bent easily. As @Chaitanya D said, speed and approach angle for dunes makes big difference. I learn that hard way, having small dents in my front now. See u on sand...
  7. Yes, this was THE drive with action, good speed and fun !!! I Really enjoyed ! Thank you @Emmanuel for excellent and safe lead and also to our other leads, @Islam Soliman, @Pancho and @Kalahari pushing us through. Great !! See you again on sand !
  8. Ok. When I opened calendar normally from my mobile, there was not visible that normal button to join. Maybe rush hour fail in system. HI, @Chaitanya D, this is my 2nd drive option.
  9. Dear @Wrangeld, please give my position to next person in WL. I am able to join to Saturday drive.
  10. Hi We experienced lot of technical dunes, made a lot of ridge rides, criss crossings, etc. Over 90 km driven is one of longest I have made and tells also about the fact how well whole group did under skilful convoy management by @Chaitanya D, @Anish S and @Jeepie. Big thanks to you ! This was fast paced drive and surely fun one ! See u again on the sand !! PS: Few photos & video in gallery.
  11. Hi Good video, as I have also been wondering a bit, when to use central diff lock and when not. I am typically driving without TRC and VSC systems, so they are off. Should I always use center diff lock on, when we are driving on sand ? Or is lock only switched on, when got stuck, etc ? Share your comments, please...
  12. Dear @Emmanuel, it looks likely that I need to go to office on Dec 28th. This is not exactly confirmed yet, but it is best to take me out from the drive and give my position to next one in WL. If I don't need to go to the office, I shall rejoin if there will be still places left. This is also my 2nd. drive on that weekend. Sorry about this inconvenience !
  13. HI @Asif Hussain ! Unfortunately my plans in family have changed and hence I cannot join this time. Please give my place next to WL. Enjoy the ride !
