  1. Dear Pitch Black Riders Time to wrap it up . one day before the event . its not the Big Red you all Know especially after the heavy rain which might have reached that area recently. we will come to know in the couple of minutes we drive on either soft sand or rocky ground. Nevertheless we will drive in continous manner as a convoy at all times , no one by one turns even with the biggest climbs to the tightest turns on the other side of the moon , i mean the eastern side of that grid where people usually fear to go🤪, its Dark and the terrain might not show any specific pattern in the technical side. Please final check your vehicles and gear . come with full tank and big passion . lets rock it together. cant wait to see you all on time or bit earlier so hopefully we finish on time as well. DRIVE RSVP IS CLOSED NOW @Joji varghese will be in the second lead . @Krishna R will be in the 3rd position @Benjamin will anchor the convoy in number 4 @Senthil Kumar will be in 5th @Sunil Mathew in number 6 and in the sweep our friend @Rajiv Sam enjoy and cheers Seidam
  2. I am afraid that this is all what has to be done for two color combination but multi color/ strips I guess you have to go to @Benjamin’s one thousand mile journey 😅
  3. Thank you @Benjamin for the clear and fantastic info. once the RTA tasjeel personel asked about the black star ( sticker ) on both sides of my Xterra and i told him that its mentioned in the Mulkia color black and white and there is no spesification for stickers as when i bought the car it was registered as such and Transfer registration was done as such from the first place and he accepted. and yes if the stripes fade away or in my case i had to re place it due to a car body work last year.
  4. I loved it the shoveling part was excellent, just in the proper place so I could slide it effortlessly 👍🙏

  6. Drive Plan Hello and Welcome to the "Pitch Black" series. This time we will take a route slightly different starting from the Big Red toward the Pink Rock. The Itinerary remains a mystery and there is only one way to unlock it is by joining this drive to explore it in the dark together. The rhythm of the convoy will be governed by the terrain and every one's skills to maintain it fluid and safe. expect mountains to climb, bowls to negotiate and Technical areas to navigate that no one has crossed before up to my knowledge so far. Please Check your vehicles properly before the drive and it’s highly recommended not bring passengers along . 7. Drive Report It has been for a while since I led an intermediate drive which was in Sweihan feb 2023 and in the night that was last summer in Qudra if I remember properly. Tonight it was something else. I and @Joji varghese arrived one after the other at the meeting point to see everybody flagged up and deflated ready to go . After quick brief we moved fast . In the second lead was @Rajiv Sam who throughout the drive did the job more than perfect. Thanks my friend and hope you sort out the tire leak soon . In the third place came @topgear our true brave heart who decided to push his skills and passion forward as it was his first intermediate drive. Very well done 👍. After the two FJC and in the 4th place the red Xterra @Joji varghese came who just did more than great 👍. In number five our last min joiner a friend whom I haven’t seen for a while was @Waqas Parvez really pleasure catching up bro . Thanks for tugging me and Davie off the crest 🙏 . In front of the sweep in number 6 was @Benjamin who spared no effort to help and assist whenever that was needed.well driven too this night 👍 . At the back as usual came the the lead in reverse @Davie Chase who kept the convoy together not slipping anyone behind . Thanks for the help my friend . almost every one including myself got his share from one refusal here or one stuck there which was dealt with professionally and safely by every one . However I enjoyed the drive maximally climbing , bowling in and out and cutting through segments of weird technical patches which area 53 is well characterized for.I hope you all enjoyed the drive. till we meet once more take care and see you soon 🔜 Seidam
  8. Dear brave hearts @Benjamin@Joji varghese@Rajiv Sam and @topgear Almost one day left to the event .. please fasten your seat belts from now 😂 welcome again in this special episode where a reload is anticipated and this time with higher level than the previous one , faster yet safer than ever . Expect super soft sand , gradual to quick climbs , short to long switches , side slips loops and re loops 🔁… etc . Please check your cars again fluid levels and come with full tanks . Concentration is prime here as the split second laps might lead to loss track refusal stuck and God forbid misshapen . I can’t wait seeing you all on time 8 pm will use channel 2 to communicate convoy order will be done at meeting point . enjoy
  9. I agree with all of the above automatic enabled transmission cars are designed to be in auto mode for most situations as the car learn the style of the driver and adjust by time . However the manual mode option can be useful in some short lived specific situations when a sustained Torque / power needed to get you from point A to point B such as steep climb or descent especially in sand , sustained speed and control over longer time riding a ridge or side slope or while recovering yourself from a stuck while in low gear . for sure it’s incomparable to the manual transmission cars where the synchronisation between the right hand on the stick , left foot on the clutch and right foot on gas is , I would say , another unique skill to acquire in sand driving which quite fun as well
  10. @Zed what is the percentage of the tinting ?😅
