  1. @Frederic you deserve a sincere word of thank you ! yesterday I remembered this wonderful thread and it worked like magic with my X . I have been in this position ( left front in the air spinning and three wheels in the sand ) before and no matter we tried eventually a tug from the back was inevitable . yesterday I managed getting my self on same situation ( not on purpose , just didn’t navigate it Finley ) . Got it shoveled and then decided to try the trick , engine off , key out , kill switch off , key in ignition , engine start , 4L , and reverse , and the surprise after three to 4 blips and even only wiggling the steering right and left .. came out ... I could feel the difference that the power instead of going to the spinning aired wheel it went to the other three in traction as if I was in a diff lock ( no diff lock in my X ) cheers 👍
  2. Thank you dear Richard @Wrangeld for the quite challenging route you took us yesterday and from the middle as CF I tried my best to keep the ball distributed equally back and forth and to keep the lead @Wrangeld and sweep @Janarthaninformed about the status of the ongoing game. Few times the ball went out ( few refusals and stuck ). Luckily we had awesome attentive players that could kick it in back and toward the right direction.well done all 👍 And for this one I am telling I am in and would be more than happy to be part of the game in any position I am put ( my favorite the last vehicle navigating tight technical baby dunes trying to roll on three wheel not four wheel dive as I just got the secret of it 😄) Great week 🌷🙏🏻🚙
  3. @Thomas Varghese I agree and it makes sense “ the ship without a captain is like the captain without a ship “ and having that said I need a trainer in photography 😄
  4. I am the worst photographer , hence I think it’s time for I phone 12 replacement 😅
  5. Now it’s over 6 months since I have it from DM and so far no issue except at the linking point where the hoses connect the rubber slightly loose otherwise all is good .
  6. With respect to all dealers I always put my search options to avoid dealers , try get it from direct owner. Test drive till price fixed this is unheard of in the world of cars . In motorcycles I would understand it but not cars !!
  7. Beautiful pictures and informative write up dear @Frederic 👍
  8. Make sure of the three point bolt fixation not only two . All the best buddy 🙏🏻
  9. The stock tow hooks of X should be fine as long as you have checked it’s structural integrity ( corrosion , firm attachment bolts ( three bolts in the back and two direct from and indirect bolt front )
  10. Dear @Emmanuel it looks like our first meeting is not this Friday afternoon I am afraid , please remove me from the wait list . Hope to catch up in some another time 😔
  11. @ZakWarah hello Zak i am an owner of JGC 2016 limited V6 however I ended deciding to spare it for the family on road and maybe a light offroad track to Qudra lakes when family all in and I purchased an Xterra 2012 for both on and my weekly offroad drives. There is no doubt at all that JGC is a powerful vehicle and capable in the different terrains offroad including the sand . But I also believe it’s a premium vehicle with sophisticated tech and to make it regularly an off-roader you have to give up some aesthetic items like the chrome .. etc in addition installing kill switches and pulling fuses as mentioned previously above. There are friends like @Brette @VipinShetty and @Ashy whom they can tell better how this elegant beast can perform in sand more than I do . Cheers
  12. I totally agree with @Rahimdad bhai and if I may add one more . Two things should be left at home Ego and Distraction the worst combination in the Wild
  13. Now this scenario of slowing , stalling at that particular moment when taking the turn and the vehicle in such inclination has many reasons either vehicle related or driver related and both lead to the end fact that the front wheels cease rolling to bring the nose down as a result what ever was left from the direction of previous momentum act like a gentle push to flip a suddenly stalled inclined vehicle .
  14. from time to time I keep posting such desert accidents and faults to remind my self and my friends whom I love driving with to keep vigilance and to stick to the principles that we all knew it in Carnity offroad club as this motor sport has its own inherent risk. I always , when I get tempted , I remind my self it’s ain’t a context or a race , it’s just a day to enjoy safely . the previous video the first Jeep was about to commit the mistake which the second one fell in and it happened because the second was overtaken and tempted , so was faster and sharply and aggressively attempting the turn in a situation a turn should be sleek and smooth and not abrupt harsh were no breaks or slowing can help it and eventually flip over .
