Dear Friends Hello and welcome again in another drive in the dark . in the second version of this theme the plan is to tackle the main 5 elevations within the Ramla Sweihan Grid . prepare your self for a fast drive surfing, climbing and double switching some crests. its going to be a continuous action with short coffee/tea breaks in between so just in case bring your camping chair along. just worth to tell that this drive may not be suitable for those passengers whom are known to get motion sickness especially if its there first time in desert , so please take a wise choice. another thing please check on your car this week if there is any doubt about its performance. stay tuned We request every member that joins this drive to go through the information below and strictly follow these guidelines, etiquette and responsibilities. All of us got an awakening moments climbing big dunes at Ramla Sweihan Grid. yesterday drive as Luke mentioned was a true adrenaline pumping straight from the beginning 🚀 and I have to say I expected more of hick ups than usual . However your attention and focus and passion helped me a lot synchronising the rhythm. very well done everyone one . @Luke K P thank you a lot . Your presence in the back gave me a peace of mind that we will end the drive the same number and no one was missed as well as you operational clear command helping and guiding was outstanding. @Glenn W you were as perfect as the situation dictated as a second lead . Pleasure having you in any drive . @ChrisW thanks for anchoring coherently the middle of the convoy . all the remaining great driving , great accompany and amazing night drive we shared all of us . Respect . Nevertheless any new comer to Carnity club you can join the newbie drive . You can claim your previous experience in Offroading and the lead will assess your driving after which you can be promoted immediately to the next level of Fewbie without the need of making the minimum newbie drives .

For this one I would say climbing like this slow in a slip phase will very quickly build up sand wall against the right sided tires ( in this example ) that a very little momentum will topple it . Solution is ATTACK 😄

The stock high beam lights are enough for the night drive . If you have offroad lights no harm but not mandatory.

Drive Report Dear Friends indeed you were the knights Driving in the dark yesterday helped us the cool weather and vigilance. After qiuck briefing we moved and vanished deep in the mystique deset of Lisaili and it was not long when we encountered our first stuck of mine when I was bogged in a soft patch of sand where I was pulled out so smoothly by @Glenn W and we continued heading to the long range dunes. The vegetation covered almost every single slope leaving us narrow passages of entry. Nevertheless we kept going till we got to the technical patch which was a carpet like to drive upon till we got my second nose down hitting a big bush. Clearing the nose thanks to all team let the Xterra to slide forward like a piece of cake . After this we took a breath enjoying chatting and a Turkish famous sweet and tea offered by @Mahmut many thanks 🙏 my friend. The third part of this drive was the most interesting where radios were silent and every one enjoyed 🏄‍♂️ the clean sand of the secret garden in a relatively higher speed but safe off course . Nat far from the lake we took a second breath after which we drove crisscrooing side sloping navigating all the way back to the track which lead us eventually to inflation point . @Sandeep N perfect second lead . Good communication and acted in proper time even before i grab the radio and give instructions. @Michael asir we drove 1:1 convoy couple month ago i am happy to learn you enjoyed it well done . @Gautam Banka excellent driving and nice chatting with you again my friend . You did briliant @Mahmut the red TJ never disappoint you as long as you are behind the wheel . Thanks for the tea and sweets 🙏 @Glenn W thanks my friend for keeping an eye on all of us and your rope recovery was smooth and nice .
