DRIVE PLAN This Sunday, we will meet at "2nd December Cafe" to do have a practice drive geared towards DCT. It will be focused on agility & endurance. It will be a re-run of an invite only drive for the DCT Team Desert Demons with @Bravoecho, @Stumpy Paj, @Bashar Beasha and @Mahmoud Taha done on 23rd October 2023. Drive will start at 2nd December Cafe and End at Shuwaib. Last time around the drive was for 84.2 km and lasted for 3:50 min, and by the time we finished we were running on fumes. We request every member that joins this drive to go through the information below and strictly follow these guidelines, etiquette, and responsibilities. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. RECOMENDED OFF-ROAD GEAR: Tire deflator & Tire pressure gauge Compressor (MANDATORY) Walkie-talkie radio (MANDATORY) Off-road flag (MANDATORY) Shovel, Tow Rope & 2 Shackles First-aid kit Fire extinguisher LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE This drive is limited to 10 cars only. Please withdraw your RSVP, if you find you are unable to join, so your spot can be taken by others in the waitlist. If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, if an RSVP attendee removes themselves, you will be moved from the waitlist to the RSVP list as an attendee. definitely take flxi care protection. My X4 fell from the mount on the second drive and the screen & lenses scattered. I was able to get a replacement with additional expense of ~130 USD

Don’t buy the case. It’s mostly useless. I had X3 case and wasn’t happy with it l. I bought one on Amazon and it was a lot better. For X4 I wasn’t as happy as I was for X3 but still much cheaper and useful than the insta360 option.

@Mahesh_, @Rk ram, @Cristian & @Anoop Nair Troubles with my Jeep aren’t over yet and I don’t see getting my car back by tomorrow- and even if I do; I would want to test it out because a lot of electrics are going to be changed in the car. Unfortunately I will not be able to conduct this drive this week. May I suggest you please pickup some other drives for the weekend. I hope I will be back in action in a couple of weeks.

Sadly may car has some issue with the wiring since last week’s drive and they are trying to diagnose the issue. There is some kind of earthing somewhere on the car and unfortunately the mechanics haven’t been able to find the short. Meanwhile @Davie Chase has been godsend and has agreed to take the convoy on a wonderful adventure. To be frank I would have loved to be at the back on the drive led by @Davie Chase so you guys are in for a great drive. Have fun guys. @Mahesh_, @Rk ram, @Ishak, @Gertjan, @Batuhan Kulac, @Charbel

It wasn't a very long drive, but it was quite challenging, and for the first time, I felt it required a lot of expertise to navigate the route on this particular day. Until now, all the intermediate drives at Badayer had felt more like Fewbie Plus +, but this time was different. The terrain's sand was extremely soft, making it difficult even to maneuver. Since we were the first to climb them dunes, I hardly saw any tracks except for a few faint lines, that means wind had erased the tracks left by Saturday's convoys. As the name suggested, the drive was quick, with less than two hours including breaks, and the driving time was less than an hour and a half. We ventured into some less frequented places, adding to the uniqueness of the experience. Thank you @Benjamin, @Mahmoud Taha and @Ishak for joining the drive.
