  2. Good morning. The drive stats and route are below. It was a decent pace through the planned route with a stretch of sabkha and a track from Nahil to Sweihan gained us more distance than usual for this level of drive. Nonetheless, 60 kms exactly from start to finish with no recoveries needed meant a mostly well flowing drive.
  3. Post-Drive Report: Nahil & Sweihan Fewbie Plus Thank you all for arriving on time and ready for the briefing this morning—with just one minor latecomer, thanks for letting me know. We had to change up the convoy order at the start due to two members who couldn’t join us, but everyone adapted quickly and we got moving without delay. A warm welcome to our first-time Fewbie Plus drivers, @Shary and @vinayak n. You both did very well on your first FB+ drive, handling the faster pace and more challenging terrain with confidence. Great job! @Gertjan had a flag issue and moved into sweep, while @Cesar Chacon took over in second lead. Both of you maintained excellent communication with the rest of the convoy—thank you for that, and for being ready and focused to follow last-minute instructions. Your teamwork helped keep things running smoothly. Thank you as always to @J-P L for an excellent job as Centre Forward in Support. It’s always reassuring to know you’re looking after things in the middle of the convoy. It was great to meet you, @Ahmed Farouk and @Sherry Jacob. Looking forward to driving with you again soon! We had a few stucks and refusals, but these were all handled quickly with self-recovery or a bit of guidance—well done to everyone for staying calm and working together. Most of our fun was in the middle part of the drive, with some appropriately sized ridges for our newest FB+ members, long sweeping side slopes, and navigation from one set of dunes to the next. The teamwork and positive attitude throughout made for a fantastic morning. Thanks again for a wonderful drive—see you all next time! Drives stats and Relive video come later tonight or first thing tomorrow morning.

  16. Drive Report – Tawi Nizwa to Pink Rock to Big Red | My 100th Drive & A Special Day What a fantastic day out in the sands! Today’s Fewbie drive from the majestic dunes of Tawi Nizwa, through the iconic Pink Rock, and ending at the legendary Big Red turned out to be nothing short of a 5-star Carnity experience. Everyone drove exceptionally well — smooth, focused, and in great control. We had no recoveries, just a few refusals and second attempts, which were handled swiftly and safely. It was a pleasure to see the convoy moving with such rhythm and confidence. A huge thank you to my Second Lead, @vinayak n, for following my lines so precisely and making last-minute route adjustments. Your support and focus was appreciated. Thanks also to @Senthil Kumar in Centre Forward and @Andrew John Melvill in Sweep — your help with refusals and keeping the convoy tight and together was much appreciated. It’s always a team effort, and today was a perfect example of that. Most importantly, thank you all for being part of some truly special memories. Today marked not only my 100th Carnity drive, but also my wedding anniversary, and I was honored to have my wife join us for this milestone. Your warmth and friendliness towards her truly reflect the spirit of Carnity — where we drive hard, support each other, and celebrate together. We also shared some Tim Hortons Tim Bits after our briefing and during one of our breaks. Tim Hortons is Canadian and something I'm fond of from back home. Glad so share some sweets with all of you today to mark the occassion. Wishing everyone a great weekend ahead. Looking forward to seeing you all on the next adventure! @vinayak n and @Myrko – please share the links to the videos from today. I’m still trying to convince my wife to let me buy that 360 camera 😄 — Emanuel Here is our track and stats from todays drive. We had good fun didn't we!
